K.K. (Spayed)'s Story...
"K.K." is a beautiful 5-year old female Hound mix who was surrendered by her owner on August 8, 2016 along with her best friend/housemate (Sandy) because their mistress could no longer care for them. "K.K." has black-and-white short smooth coat with tan highlights, a long tail, and an adorable tricolor face with tan eyebrows, a white stripe on her muzzle/forehead, and short floppy ears. This sweet little lady has a lovely disposition and a charismatic personality. She loves attention (and her best friend Sandy) :) "K.K." gets along well with other dogs, children, and cats. She has been kept indoors and is housebroken. "K.K." walks gently on leash. She currently weighs 44.8 lbs. "K.K." and Sandy are sharing a large kennel in our shelter. Naturally we'd love to see them find another home together. "K.K." was spayed on August 26, 2016 and was also given rabies vaccine.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

K.K. (Spayed), a Marietta Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
