Sandy (Spayed)'s Story...
"Sandy" is a darling 9-year old female Boxer mix who was surrendered by her owner on August 8, 2016 along with her best friend (K.K.) because their mistress could no longer take care of them. "Sandy" has a tan short smooth coat with white highlights on her chest and paws, a docked tail, and a beautiful face with a black muzzle and short semi-erect ears. "Sandy" is good with children, other dogs, and cats. She has been kept indoors and is housebroken. She has a friendly, outgoing personality and loves attention. "Sandy" is a fun-loving girl who dearly loves her best friend/housemate. She and "K.K" are sharing a kennel so that they may provide comfort and sense of security for each other. We had the girls out together for their photo session, and it was funny to see "Sandy" photo-bombing K.K.'s pictures .. So we took a few photos of them together :) "Sandy" is a full-figured girl who weighs 49 lbs. She was spayed on September 20, 2016 and was also given rabies vaccine.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sandy (Spayed), a Marietta Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
