Freddie is a 13-year-old, 15 pound Poodle/Terrier mix. Freddie is a well-adjusted gentleman in most social situations and gets along fine with other dogs, as long as he has an opportunity to have a proper greeting with the new pup. He currently has several other dogs in his foster family and he gets along with everybody. He is house-trained and is used to being both indoors and outdoors during the day. Although he hasn't mastered the doggie door just yet, he will let himself outside when he needs to go potty if the door is open. Freddie walks well on a leash and adores time spent outdoors - he has tons of pep in his step (he doesn't know that he's a 'senior' dog!). He would likely be an easy fit into many different families. His favorite thing is to jump into your lap for some cuddling. This smart little guy even knows a few basic commands! Freddie is currently living with a cat in his foster family, and while he thinks it's a bit fun to chase her, she is very dog-savvy and they've worked out a functional relationship. We do know that the energy of small children can make him a bit nervous. Freddie came to us when his guardian became ill and could no longer care for him. He has settled in beautifully in his foster home and can't wait to meet his forever family.
