Lilly's Story...
I am Lilly. I purr so hard I actually trill. And I am almost always purring & trilling. I love to cuddle with people and have my tummy rubbed. But I’m having a hard time finding that right person. I had a home once for a little while but my mom got very very sick only a few days after rescuing me off the street so she had to give me up. I was so sad. I sure would like to find a forever home. I’ll lay next to you on the couch or your bed and follow you around the house. I just want someone I can love and who will love me. I’m about 7-8 months old and I have a really sweet personality if I do say so myself. (My foster dad says I'm the sweetest kitten he's ever met.) I get along with all the other cats at my foster home and I even play with the dog! Can you help me by being that mom or dad who will love me for life? My foster mom is Deb and you can call about me at 602-757-9791. I’ll be waiting!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lilly, a Phoenix American Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a American Shorthair cat from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
