Josie is a Lab mix. She gets along with everyone and everything but in
a back yard environment however she can get a bit pushy, hence,we recommend her
as an only dog or to at least test her before deciding. She is fine visiting with other dogs.
Her basic behavior
is fantastic. When she was still in TX she had her in her own pen, there is a gate to
my back yard that frequently houses miniature horses and 1 confident llama.
Josie dashed out the gate one day (I was moving slow) and she was excited to
feel the freedom. All she did was run around the yard, among the horses and
Llama and have a great time sniffing. She went up to other dog pens and
left the dogs alone...no barking, snarling, etc. I was very pleased. I let
her run and have some fun then called her and she came right back and into
her pen. I was so pleased.
She tested negative for heartworms and is doing great.
We are trying to find a loving home for this sweet dog and are only asking
