Zoey's Story...
Hey there...I'm Zoey and I'm a 5-6 month old terrier/hound mix. My foster mom isn't real sure. I was a stray in Modesto and ended up in their shelter. I spent about 10 days in the shelter and then my foster mom picked me up. I like it at her house because she has some other dogs I can play with. I'm working on my potty training because no one ever taught me what to do. I'm starting to get the hang of it. I already know sit, down, shake and I'm working on stay. I do need to work on my leash skills, not real sure why I need one because I'll just follow you all day long! I'd really love to find my own family with humans to snuggle with. Pick me!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zoey, a Lodi Hound (Unknown Type)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Lodi, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy from a breeder in Lodi.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lodi already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lodi breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lodi paves the way for another one to be saved.
