Cooper's Info...

I am already neutered, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, not good with kids, not good with dogs, and good with cats.

Cooper's Story...
Cooper came to our shelter as a kitten and was quickly adopted. He was returned SIX years later because his owners had a baby. Cooper's whole life was turned upside down in an instant when he ended up back at our adoption center. He is easily stressed by changes in his environment, and needs a quiet home that will give him the patience and love he deserves. Cooper is 6 years old and gets along with mellow, quiet kitties. No dogs or small kids for Cooper- they stress him too much.

Cooper is neutered, vaccinated, and feline leukemia/AIDS negative. He is current on flea/tick preventative and microchipped. To meet him, visit our adoption center at PetSmart, 55 Boston Post Road, Orange. Adoption application is also available via our website Adoption donation $125

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cooper, a North Haven Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in North Haven, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in North Haven.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Haven already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Haven breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Haven paves the way for another one to be saved.
