This handsome pup is high bonding and super smart! He came to us after having been found by a good samaritan who saw kids kicking a stray puppy on the street. Despite his rough start to life, he has been such a joyful little guy who has managed to win over the hearts of everyone who has met him.
We believe that Baxter is a herding breed or guardian breed mix and feel that he would do best in a home that has experience with these types of breeds and understands the exercise, training, and socialization that these dogs require. He is very easily trained and treat motivated. He goes for regular walks in downtown Petaluma and does great with the crowds of people and other dogs. He loves dogs! Baxter also attended the Bay Area Pet Fair and was a perfect gentleman. He will truly excel in a home that is sensitive to his needs and make an amazing and loyal companion.
