BELLA HAS BEEN ADOPTED.
Got toys? Then Bella, our 3 year-old Cattledog mix female with really pretty markings, wants to meet you! She was homeless at a rural county dog shelter before Christmas and went into a foster home over the holidays to avoid euthanasia. After the holidays were over, Bella spent a few weeks in a boarding kennel and from there made the trip to Canine Lifeline to begin looking for a permanent new home. Bella loves people and is a major snuggler. If you’re looking for a friend to curl up on the couch with each evening, this is your girl! According to her previous foster family, Bella is housetrained and great on a leash. Although she gets along well with the other dogs in her foster home when off-leash in a fenced yard, she can be reactive with new dogs when meeting them on a leash so will need someone who's able to work with her on that if she's to walk in neighborhoods where there are a lot of other dogs around. Bella LOVES toys of all kinds and managed to abscond with the hamburger squeaky toy from her photo shoot. She would do fine as an only dog so she could have all the toys and attention from her humans to herself. Bella was adopted for several months but recently returned because she wasn't comfortable with visitors coming into her home. She will need a home with someone who is able to work with her on that or understand that she needs to be put in a crate or another room with guests come over. Bella does like to chase cats so would do best in a kitty-free home and will keep squirrels, bunnies, and other critters out of her yard too. Bella weighs about 40 pounds and her adoption fee is $200. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week trial period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email email@example.com if you’re interested in Bella. An approved application is required before we set up meets with any of our dogs. All of our dogs come to us from county dog pounds so we have no history on them. We also have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 4-5 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 24-48 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
