Meet Major, a big beautiful, happy, 3 year old, 95 lb Lab mix.  Major hasn’t met a person he didn’t like!  A special boy who loves to bounce around, chasing dragonflies.  That is how Major loves to spend his afternoons.  Major was abandoned on a rural, country road in the middle of winter.  Fortunately, he was brought into foster care before the big ice storm hit the area.  His favorite toy is a rope that he loves to throw around the yard.  Going for walks is one of his favorite activities, in fact it’s good for him.  Major has a damaged right knee but that does not slow him down.  He will self-limit if his knee starts to bother him. Because of this Major is a special needs boy who needs someone that will help him to not over-do.  His ideal home is a family with no other pets.  PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com

About Critter Cavalry Rescue New England - CT

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a dedicated group of rescue volunteers who desire to find loving homes for animals who have been placed in shelters and are in grave danger of euthanasia. Our heart's desire is to provide you with a loving companion for many years to come.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We are a full volunteer rescue organization. All of our animals are kept in loving foster homes, receiving the best care possible. A completed application must be submitted and approved to meet with our dogs/pups. A completed application helps us determine compatibility and also helps us to ensure a successful adoption.

Our Adoption Process...

Most all our dogs are fostered in Tennessee and transport up to the Northeast or New England. Our fees start at $500 and can be higher depending on the dog and circumstances for their vetting. All fees cover the health certificate, transportation up to designated places for families to pick up their pre-adopted dog, spay/neuter, rabies, all shots, fecal and dewormings, microchip, complete vet check up and 4 way heartworm test if dogs are older than 8 months.
