Meet Miss Mouse!

Mouse is a beautiful young lady that is small in size at approximately 6 pounds, but big in personality. She is very exotic looking with ice blue eyes.  Her beautiful coat is mostly white with distinctive smoky grey and camel color markings.

Little Miss Mouse had a rough start in her early life.  She was a stray that was looking for handouts to survive. She was a girl in trouble that had a litter of kittens with nowhere to keep them safe. Thankfully a nice family took her in and cared for her and the kittens.  They gave them shelter and lots of good food to eat.  Mouse acquired her name at this time (because she was so very small and was quiet as a mouse).   Her kittens grew and were able to find good homes of their own.  But, Mouse was left behind. So the nice family called Diamonds in the Ruff to help.  She is now in a foster home and is ready to find her very own loving family and home.

If you are looking for a petite little lady to add to your family, then Mouse may be the girl for you.  She is quiet and shy, but would like to have the opportunity to get to know you. Oh, by the way, she is becoming quite talkative at meal time.  She jabbers in kitty code and loves to hear your reply.

Miss Mouse is a gorgeous, mostly white coat, domestic, short hair kitty.  She has lovely smoke gray and camel color markings.  Her light ice blue eyes will capture your heart.  She is approximately 2 years of age, spayed and feline leukemia negative.  She is up to date on all preventatives and vaccinations.   If you are interested in a sweet little kitty, please fill out an application to adopt on our website at

Mouse is located in a loving foster home in Eastern Kentucky.  Out of state adoption and transportation can be arranged.

About Diamonds In The Ruff- Spring Valley NY

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a not for profit organization consisting of a group of dedicated volunteers who are devoted to saving shelter dogs and cats that are in danger of euthanasia. Rual Kentucky, Virginia, and West Virginia shelters have a constant overflow of healthy adoptable dogs and cats, with little funding and limited space. Once the dog or cat arrives at the shelter, they have very little time. It is our goal to help save these animals, and adopt them out to loving families in the New England area. We do not limit ourselves to any particular breed, as we believe all shelter animals deserve a second chance. We are NOT professionals trainers or animal behaviorists: simply volunteers who are trying to save these dogs and cats from euthanasia.

Our Adoption Process...

Our dogs and cats are fostered in Eastern Kentucky in one of our many experienced foster homes. We have may dogs and cats looking for a loving new home. All of our dogs receive rabies vaccine, distemper/parvo vaccine, bordatella and spay/neuter and are on monthly heartworm and flea prevention. All of our cats have been tested for Feline Leukemia, have received a feline combination vaccine, rabies vaccine, bordatella, spay/neuter and flea control. All of our dogs and cats come with complete medical records. Their adoption fee of covers their age appropriate vetting, heartworm/flea preventative, as well as their transportation to your area. The adoption fee for dogs and puppies is $450.00. The adoption fee for cats and kittens is $300.00.

Our rescue doesn't have an actual shelter building in the New England area. Due to this it is not possible to meet them prior to their adoption. Our dogs and cats are brought up to their new owners weekly! Our transport service is certified throught the USDA. We can provide additional photos as well as the contact information to the foster home they are living in. We strive to get good matches for our pets, so that everyone has a long and happy life together!
