Bliss's Story...
Bliss- Complete happiness…. That’s exactly what this girl is! There’s not a better name to describe her. She came to us in pretty bad shape, with bite marks on her upper body and neck and wounds from being prodded with a sharp object, how anyone could hurt such a precious being. But as soon as she arrived in foster care, she was so acceptable of humans, amazing, the power some dogs can possess and so yearning for kind, human touch. Her face just lit up when she was petted and shown affection! Our Bliss is just happy, happy, happy, all the time, her tail just never stops wagging! She’s at best guess a terrier mix and approximately 2 years of age. She likes to go for car rides and loves to be outdoors romping around with her humans or doggie friends. She weighs 69 pounds so she’s a solid gal but that’s because she’s stuffed with so much love! Bliss would be a great companion for a young couple that would continue to spoil her or even a family looking for that new member to cherish forever. She so deserves a good life and that’s what we are looking for, could that be YOU! She’s up to date on her vaccines and spayed. You can meet this special girl on Saturday at Pequannock Feed and Supply in West Milford, NJ from 10 to 2

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bliss, a Pompton Lakes Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Pompton Lakes, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Pompton Lakes.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pompton Lakes already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pompton Lakes breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pompton Lakes paves the way for another one to be saved.
