Gallagher's Story...
I bringing out the sledge-o-matic….beware, I’m going to smash that loneliness to bits! No joke, I am the sweetest, cutest, cuddliest, playfulest companion you could ever ask for. A home with other dogs, cats, or children to play with would suit me well. My crate training is something to be applauded, but I’m still a baby, so I’m no pro and I’ll happily soak up all training you wanna offer me. This is my stage and you are my audience, so come watch me win over your heart with my puppy antics! 4 months old-31lbs. My adoption fee is $280 and includes neuter, microchip & registration, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, reduced-cost training class, leash/collar, toy & treat packet, food sample.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gallagher, a Portland Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Portland, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
