Bindi's Story...
08-10-16 Bindi is a special dog, looking for a special home. She's a super sweet, but initially shy girl. She was given up by her family because she loves her people enough to want to protect them, and with 2 children that constantly had company that became a difficult situation.
She does bark at new people, but here with us at the rescue has never offered to be aggressive and has warmed up significantly within a very short time. She's met several new dogs here and has done well with them.
Her ideal home would be an individual or couple that would appreciate a dog with a warning bark and have the insight to allow her a separate area (room or crate) when new folks were coming until there was time for a slow, proper introduction.
She's petitie, 37 lbs, sweet, and will be very easy in a home that appreciates her needs.
Bindi is spayed, has been on heartworm prevention and is up to date on vaccines.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bindi, a Charlotte Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Charlotte, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Charlotte.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Charlotte already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Charlotte breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Charlotte paves the way for another one to be saved.
