Manny's Story...
Manny is a 4 year old owner surrender. His owner was getting too old and had too many health problems to properly take care of him We just received him and gave him a bath so he's still wet in the pictures. He's a little timid at first but he dos warm up quickly. If you would like to meet him please go to our website RescueADog.org under the forms tab download an adoption application and email it back to info@RescueAdog.org so we can set up a meet and greet with you and him. We are waiting for his neuter appointment and Rabies shot but he could go foster to adopt right now.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Manny, a Palm Harbor Maltese/Bichon Frise dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese/Bichon Frise for sale in Palm Harbor, or seeking a Maltese/Bichon Frise dog from a breeder in Palm Harbor.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Palm Harbor already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Palm Harbor breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese/Bichon Frise breeders who help with Maltese/Bichon Frise rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Palm Harbor paves the way for another one to be saved.
