Meet Capone! This sweet American Bulldog/Pittie mix hasn't met a person or dog he doesn't get along with! To go along with his medium size, Capone has a medium energy level. He is content hanging out with foster dog siblings or being the center of attention with his lovable, goofy personality. He's very easy-going! Capone is both house trained and crate trained. He is still working on his other manners and basic commands and is getting used to treating people a species separate from canine as he was just recently rescued, but we think he'll catch on quickly! This goofy lug is ready for a forever family! Capone is about 2.5 years old. How can you resist that face?

If you're interested in adopting Capone, please visit our website to learn about our adoption process and to fill out an application, here. All of our dogs will be micro-chipped, spayed or neutered, and up-to-date on vaccinations at the time of adoption.

Gateway Pet Guardians is proud to offer a variety of mixed breed dogs available for adoption. However, please keep in mind that we rarely know the genetic background of the animals we rescue and, as such, we cannot guarantee the exact breed combinations found within this dog. Further, because 'pit bull terrier type dog' is not a breed we can list and because this dog has a blocky head and other characteristics that make the public perceive him/her as a pit bull, we are listing him/her as a pit bull mix. However, we do not know his/her actual genetic makeup. Just know that this dog is probably a variety of several different breeds that have combined to create one very amazing and unique animal.
