Frankie is a beautiful, adventurous, and happy 1 year old (barely) lab / pittie mix. She loves being outside and visiting with neighbors. Although not especially fond of cats – she’s grown to tolerate the cat living in her foster home, and she loves other dogs. She has excellent manners and behavior.

She loves playing outside in the backyard with her favorite rope toy, and to snuggle up and watch movies. She loves attention but does fine entertaining herself with her many toys and bones. Her face and ears are incredibly expressive and funny. Frankie could be a great joy to have as part of your family and home.

If you feel your home might be the right place for such a great dog - the place to start is with the adoption application found at www.dfwrescueme.org/adopt. Once submitted, the foster will contact you promptly to tell you more and to arrange a time to meet!

The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $250.00, which includes their vaccinations and spay/neuter.

Frankie is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so ongoing care and custody are provided by their foster, not by DFWRM.

About DFW Rescue Me

About Our Rescue Group...

Our goal is to save dogs at the local shelters in the Dallas \ Fort Worth Metroplex from euthanasia and adopt them to the public. We spay / neuter these dogs as well as provide all necessary medical care. We also educate the public about responsible pet ownership. We love dogs and our goal is to reduce / eliminate euthanisias being done in this area by shelters due to overcrowding.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Dogs can be met at our adoptions events, at their foster homes, or the boarding facility where they are staying. They can also be met during the home visit.

Our Adoption Process...

Adoption fee for dogs is $250. We required an adoption application and check both vet references and pet deposits / breed restrictions if they apply. We also do a home check prior to all adoptions.
