Here is this precious little boy's very sad story: Sparky was brought to the shelter to do a bite confinement. He got in trouble for doing what all puppies do, they "mouth". They play with their teeth and if not taught to do something else, they don't know that it is a no-no. Due to this "bad" behavior, Sparky was incarcerated for 10 days and the owner did not want him back. The biting was not from aggression but from juvenile playing and teething. Sadly, too many people don't recognize a puppy's antics. They want a puppy but not when they act like a puppy. Sparky weighed only about 15 lbs when we took him, but of course he will grow. Tho he doesn't look like he will be a big boy. He is not a purebred Dalmatian but we don't care. He is sure a darn cute little Dalmatian Wannabe. He is vetted and ready to go! Adoption $250. If interested in this dog, please go to www.dalmatianrescue.org and submit an application for adoption. Under Adoptions, please read our adoption policy. We must have an application before we can begin the adoption process and each dog does have foster contact listed.
