My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cowboy has a flaw and he gets no interests because he has a deformity. But you could not find a better dog. People keep passing him up because he has an imperfection. We are hoping that someone’s heart goes out to Cowboy, to take a moment to consider him and meet him! If you are that person, please read on!

Meet the wonderful and charming Cowboy. He is 2 years old and fully grown at 70 pounds and is super cute! Cowboy has a deformed front ankle on his left foot that is a birth defect but not a problem at all according to the veterinarian who examined him. His back and shoulders are great so there is no problem for him to keep the leg. He moves around with ease as a three legged dog but sometimes using his defect leg for stability to get up in the car for example. Cowboy is super charming, every person that meets him falls for this boy and he is always very polite and happy. His foster mom adores him and cannot say enough great things about him and he even lives with two cats right now.

Cowboy is very sweet and loving; he is already neutered, up-to-date with shots and micro-chipped. He is quiet, crate-trained and house-trained. He loves being petted and brushed and is very friendly with other dogs, and being three legged does not stop him from playing and having a wonderful time with other dogs. He loves to play as you can see in his video. He is also great with kids. If you are looking for a best friend, this is your boy!
