Teddy’s here! His name is only suitable for his sweet little face :) Teddy is a Black Lab mix and weighs about 50lbs. He probably won’t get any bigger since he’s about 2 years old. This guy loves his crate and he also loves kids! He played with a 4-year-old and she even walked him on a leash. The two were absolutely precious together.
At first, Teddy can be a little shy. It doesn’t take him long to get to know you though. He becomes such a sweet and cuddly buddy and just lays his head in your lap! He’s cautious of most new things, but has a very laid back attitude. He is very fond of his foster mom and follows her around the house – he’d rather be with her or at least in the same room since he’s such an affectionate pooch. He also loves cuddling and belly rubs!
Teddy is still working on his housebreaking skills. He doesn’t have a lot of accidents but he’s still learning that his potty is outside. He enjoys playing with other pups (Jasmine is his roommate and they get along splendidly!) but he does require soft introductions. Because of this, he is better off getting exercise somewhere other than a dog park. He thoroughly enjoys walks but also likes cuddling with his humans just as much. In fact, sometimes he just stops in the middle of a walk and rolls over, looking for a belly rub! He is such a sweetheart and adores attention from people, big or small! Teddy currently lives with a cat and for the most part ignores him. They aren’t together all the time though, so we’ll have an update on his cat-friendliness in a couple of weeks.
If you’re looking for a cuddle-buddy, Teddy is your man. He’s a 50lb teddy bear that just wants to be loved! Take him home before you miss out! What are you waiting for?!
