If you are interested in adopting an ARPO pet, please visit our website, for details about our fees and process, and to complete our Pre-Qualification Form. ARPO limits adoptions to within 50 miles of Indianapolis. We do not have a shelter; all pets are in volunteer foster homes.
This is Jacee. She can be shy when meeting strangers but once she warms up she is all about you. Jacee is still a youngster being just over one year old but she still plays like a kitten with toys and other cats. She likes to talk to you when you get home from work or errands like she is asking “Where have you been? What have you been doing?” In her pictures depending on the lighting, she sometimes looks grey, but she is a beautiful brown tabby with black stripes.

Your message has been sent to Alliance for Responsible Pet Ownership, Inc..
You'll receive a copy, too, at to help you keep track of which pets you've inquired about, and which shelters and rescues you've emailed.
NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter! Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply. You can find information about the shelter or rescue group caring for this pet, and their adoption procedures, on the pet's details page on Adopt-a-Pet.com.
