Hello, my name is Zena! Since May 17, 2016 I have been in foster care and have learned a tremendous amount about being a wonderful inside companion! I am a mid-sized lap dog still growing that just wants to be loved. I had a rough start in life and it takes me a little while to trust new people but I am so worth it. Initially and until I am comfortable in my new surroundings, it would be best to feed me in my kennel or away from activity. I love to play ball in the yard and then have you chase me! I very fast with tons of energy! I love to snuggle up with you on the couch and pass out cold and yes I do snore! I sleep in my crate and am house trained but I do steal stuff that isn''t mine - lots of puppy tendencies. Recently I received my Canine Good Citizen Award from A&B Canine and I am a really nice walker. I am a quick study and motivated by really great tasting treats! I certainly enjoy meeting new people but for now I would like to be the only dog in the household since I require being the center of your world. I like children but I am too rough for them at this stage in my life. I do enjoy playing with other dogs and currently live with one in foster care. So if you are looking for a spirited lap dog and are an active mature individual/couple home a lot and willing to continue my training/socialization, I am certainly the ticket I assure you! If you would like to schedule a meeting - please e-mail adoptions@beavercountyhumanesociety.org to set-up a time.

Multiple visits with me at training class are required for my adoption - we will have fun learning about each other together!
