Hi! My name is Roxy, and I am a one and half year old Shepherd mix. I'm the perfect sized dog weighing in at 31 pounds! My foster mom says I'm a sweet little angel. I really try to be the best dog I can be. I'm just a little nervous around new things. Once I feel comfortable with you, you won't believe how sweet and lovable I am. You have to be willing to give me time to settle in to my new surroundings. If you're patient with me I will reward you with unending admiration and love.
I would prefer a home without small children only because they make me more nervous than usual. Before I came to Rescue One I was hit by a car, and was told I would never walk again. I showed those doctors! Look at me now! I can walk and run. I would love a home with a fenced yard, but I do really well on my leash too. We could go for walks anywhere you like. If you're looking for a real miracle story to tell your friends, look no further. I am a walking miracle, and can't wait to meet you!
