Maya is quite possibly one of the most laid back and lazy pups we have ever had the pleasure of rescuing! Oh and she is CURVY! About 80lbs (a good amount is extra to love), big, beautiful, and petite (for a rottie), Maya is just oozes soul. She walks like a dream on the leash and listens to everything you have to say. Her medium length coat has a stunning tourtise shell pattern of rich browns and deep black and face is classically rottie, yet so delicate. When you look at her, you see someone who has carried the world on her shoulders and is ready to just put it all down. Our guess is Maya is at the ripe age of 7-9 years old; although, she does not have a single gray hair on her. We wonder what her secret is! Maya would be the perfect dog for an older couple or quiet home. She would prefer no walk up apartments, though. She is now ready to let her body rest and use the elevator or minimal steps. Maya gets along with all animals and people, and very tolerant of little dogs that also appreciate her beauty. She is also a champ with baths and shows you the biggest, and most genuine, smile after you are done shampooing/massaging her! She is such a gem and would make a wonderful snuggle buddy. Also, Maya is very neat and dainty- housebroken and wonderful with basic commands.

Maya was found tied out this summer, abandoned and melancholic. A kind Queens office fell in love with her and contacted us immediately. She is now in our care, getting all the love she can handle. Unfortunately, she is in boarding and needs a foster or adoptive home asap.
