Lexie's Story...
Lexie is a beautiful calico that looks like she has a mask on. She is petite, sweet and very playful. She is curious and always carrying off straws, cotton balls, packing chips, hair bands, etc. anything she can carry off in her mouth. Sometimes we find the missing items and sometimes we don't. She loves to trade the kittens' toys for hers. She was born in March 2016.

Lexie loves most people and gets along with other kitties and will keep you laughing at her escapades. She would love to have kitty friends in her new home and a place to sit or sleep by a window so she can keep an eye on the neighbors for you. They all wave and talk to her in the mornings as they are walking their dogs and going to work.

Lexie is litterbox trained, spayed, negative for FIV and FeLV, current on her vaccinations and looking for someone to love her forever. She is up at Petsmart Collegeville some weekends. If you would like to see her, let us know and we can arrange it.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lexie, a Colmar Calico cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Calico for sale in Colmar, or seeking a Calico cat from a breeder in Colmar.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colmar already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colmar breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Calico breeders who help with Calico rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colmar paves the way for another one to be saved.
