Facts about Lexie

  • Breed: Calico
  • Color: Calico Or Dilute Calico
  • Age: Kitten
  • Sex: Female
  • ID#: 10226KH
  • Hair: Short
Lexie is a beautiful calico that looks like she has a mask on. She is petite, sweet and very playful. She is curious and always carrying off straws, cotton balls, packing chips, hair bands, etc. anything she can carry off in her mouth. Sometimes we find the missing items and sometimes we don't. She loves to trade the kittens' toys for hers.

Lexie loves most people and gets along with other kitties and will keep you laughing at her escapades. She would love to have kitty friends in her new home and a place to sit or sleep by a window so she can keep an eye on the neighbors for you. They all wave and talk to her in the mornings as they are walking their dogs and going to work.

Lexie is litterbox trained, spayed, negative for FIV and FeLV, current on her vaccinations and looking for someone to love her forever. She is up at Petsmart Collegeville some weekends. If you would like to see her, let us know and we can arrange it.

About Stray Cat Blues

About Our Rescue Group...

Officially, Stray Cat Blues, Inc. is a no-kill, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization providing rescue and placement to stray, abandoned, and feral cats. Personally, SCB is a small group of dedicated volunteers who work tirelessly to find loving, life-long homes for cats. We are professional in our practices, but we are emotional on the subject of homeless cats, and the ways in which we humans can work to prevent this epidemic of strays.

Stray Cat Blues actively works to find permanent homes for the stray cats in our program. Our kittens and cats are exposed to the pet-loving public at our different adoption locations (see Come Meet our Pets section below) to facilitate adoptions and to provide visibility for our organization. Our cats can also be seen online at

Most of our cats offered for adoption are strays and their offspring that are rescued off the streets.

For those stray cats that are more wary of humans, especially feral cats, we can help humanely trap, sterilize and either return them if the area they live in is safe and they are being fed, or we house them and adopt them out as barn cats.

Our Adoption Process...

We require an application with vet references or a home visit. All the animals are screened for feline leukemia and FIV, inoculated, sterilized and wormed when they first come to us. Healthy, adoptable cats and kittens are then housed through our network of foster homes. Our adoption fee is only $95. (Fee can be paid by cash or check at our Petsmart North Wales/Montgomeryville location. At our Collegeville location, the fee can be paid by cash, check, or credit card.)

If you are interested in adopting a cat, you can find our online adoption application at our website - On the side of the page there is a section labeled Quick Adoption Links. Click on the link for application to adopt a House Cat. Click on this link, fill out this short form, and be sure to click Submit at the bottom. One of our Adoption Reps will then contact you within a couple of days to guide you through the adoption process.

Alternately you can complete a paper application at Petsmart when we have SCB volunteers present (see times for adoption showings). Questions - email us at: We are happy to answer general questions, and also put you in touch with the foster families for questions about specific cats.
