Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Tilly just arrived from Alabama and just turned 2.She is not cat tolerant, but appears to fine with small dogs. Tilly will be available soon.
I caught a fish! I'm not going to eat her because she's my new BFF. I named her Crush. I don't understand why everyone keeps calling her Nemo. Crush and I LOVE running around the yard together. Crush especially likes it when I pounce on her, then run really fast carrying her in my mouth.
We moved from Lazy Grey into our foster home today. It's awesome so far! I get to sleep on a soft doggie bed, eat delicious snacks and go outside whenever I want. As soon as I have no puppies surgery, Crush and I will be ready to move into your house. If you're planning to welcome a new pet into your family, you should totally pick us. I promise to be a good doggie AND I promise to clean up after Crush and feed her myself. PLEEEEEEASE.
Batting My Eyes (Crush Would if She Could),
Tilly
FOSTER UPDATE:
Tilly is doing well so far. She has transitioned to the house setting, living with one male and one female greyhound. At first, she was very nervous and hi energy. Tilly has since mastered the steps...dog walks , feeding time, play time....(and pee & poop time). She is very happy, and constantly moving around....she attaches/bonds to a person and will follow you around the house from room to room and just lay there and watch you.
Tilly probably would do better in a home with people around and maybe other dogs. At this point, she strikes me as a more people-oriented hound and doesn't really care for other hound mates. As a result, she may be fine as an only dog with someone who is home a lot.
We still keep her on a leash in the fenced in backyard, for playtime as we have a pool and some cactus...she has tried the shallow end of the pool and likes water. her next goal would be to off the leash with the other greys soon.
Tilly is very curious and sometimes gets startled by strange noises....recently the refrigerator ice machine triggered her to bark, then she settles down again. She is working on her table manners. She loves to counter surf, more curious than for snagging food snacks. She doesn't do well in crates or X pens... as the first few nights she got very anxious and cried alot until out with the other greys on doggie beds.
Tilly is very cute and petite. She has distinctive dark brindle markings with a black/dark chocolate colored muzzle. She is a great little dog, 50 lbs or so, who will be an awesome companion.
