Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Five-year-old Tonka is a big beefy boy that loves to take it easy and relax. He needs a home with children 16 and up. Volunteer Gillian fostered Tonka, here is her report: Tonka stayed with us for a couple weeks as he was stressed and getting thin in the kennel. He was an incredibly friendly dog, all he wanted was MORE petting! He was very happy to have people around to pet him and followed me around the house wagging his tail. He was a tall and strong dog, he learned to walk on the leash quickly, I would consider a head halter type collar for walking him as he tended to pull. He was a great hiking partner and did the blue trail at Sleeping Giant no problem. He was very calm and friendly meeting new dogs, and always happy to meet people. He never had any mean or defensive behaviors. He is a big guy that would love a home to call his own.NO APPOINTMENTS NEEDED.
