Brady's Story...
Brady is a beautiful black and white kitten with a mellow and sensitive personality. He is a very gentle and calm kitty but still very playful and very talkative and will make cute little sounds and chirps for just about any reason. Brady is also a very tolerant kitty and would let the other kittens in his foster home have the toys and food first while patiently waiting for his turn. However, Brady does not seem totally sure what to make of dogs so a no dog home would be more appropriate for him.

Brady is not demanding about attention or very clingy but he loves to be near you and for you to lay on the floor with him and pet him behind his ears while talking to him and he will usually answer you back with his soft purrs and his signature cute little sounds. Brady has the type of personality that would require other kitties living with him to be calm and gentle like him so that he is not over shadowed or pushed out. Now, if you want to see Brady’s “Catness” just bring out a wand toy with twirling feathers and he is all business!

Brady was born April 20, 2016. He is current on all shots appropriate for his age and has tested negative for FIV and Feline Leukemia. He has already been neutered and micro chipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brady, a Merrifield Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Merrifield, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Merrifield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Merrifield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Merrifield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Merrifield paves the way for another one to be saved.
