Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Prince and I am an 8 year old male white and brindle Chihuahua mix. Do you have any friends that don’t handle change well? That’s me! I was in a home for a very long time and my mom had to downsize and had to rehome me due to her health issues. I went into foster care with Laura and she has helped me a lot, but change just rocks my world. I am looking for a soft place to lay my head with a kind and patient person. Please do not contact Laura unless you are really, really, really kind and patient. I have been with Laura for a little over 2 months and I am just starting to relax, feel comfortable and at ease with her. Laura has another dog named Peanut and she says that I remind her of Peanut. Peanut was really scared and snappy – just like me. She has loved Peanut for several years and now he is a sweet, sweet boy, but it was a long, slow process to get there. That’s what I need! A consistent, loving, patient person who will allow me to come out of my shell and blossom at my own pace, but never stop loving me during the transition period. I wasn’t doing well on house training when I first came to Laura’s house, but now I have very few accidents. I am current on my vaccinations and preventatives. I know I am a challenge, but I think Laura will vouch for me that it is a challenge worth taking for the right person. She has seen me blossom during these last 2 months and I still have so much more that I want to show her, but I just have to take baby steps to get there. If you think we might make a love connection, contact Laura at laura.k9s4me@gmail.com. Thanks for your interest in adopting a homeless animal. This bio was last updated 8/13/2016.
