Sabrina's Story...
Hello there. My name is Sabrina. I'm 8 years old and weigh a petite 37 pounds. I was kept outdoors at my previous home and had figured out how to get out. My family thought that was dangerous and didn’t want me to get hurt so they asked AGB to help me find a new family to take care of me. I had some surgery recently to remove a growth on my skin and my teeth got a good cleaning. I’m feeling better now and eager to find my forever home. I am a sweet and gentle girl. I can be a little timid when we first meet but it doesn’t take me long to warm up and want to cuddle with you. I like to go for walks and I am smart and eager to please. Do you think I could be the perfect girl for you? If so, I hope you will tell my AGB friends you want to meet me, Sabrina.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sabrina, a BIRMINGHAM Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in BIRMINGHAM, or seeking a Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in BIRMINGHAM.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in BIRMINGHAM already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a BIRMINGHAM breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in BIRMINGHAM paves the way for another one to be saved.
