"Darla"'s Story...
Meet "Darla" She is a happy 3 yr old beautiful 50 pound Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix. Darla is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped her fee is 475.00
Darla was saved from a very small remote shelter in CA. The shelter staff loved Darla! Sadly Darla sat in the shelter for 30 days as she watched other dogs get adopted daily. Darla was on her last days at the shelter when the staff reached out to 6dogrees Rescue. Darla is in Seattle and doing great in her foster home. She is well cared for by her foster and goes to work in a pet store. Darla is socializing and making new friends daily! Darla is a loyal loving girl. She is seeking a home that will let her be a inside dog and included as part of the faimily. Although Darla is friendly, we do not know her past and prefer an all adult home with no cats or small dogs and a fully fenced yard. Darla is a real people's dog she loves humans. She will plopdown in your lap thinking she is a teacup size dog. Darla knows basic commands and loves to go for walks and car rides. If you are interested in meeting Darla please submit an online adoption application at www.6dogrees.com
A home check is required prior to a meet and greet.
Darla is fostered in Monroe WA
The adoption fee of $475 includes: Neuter or spay, microchip, current vaccines (DA2PP, rabies, bordatella) de-worming, flea treatment, and heart worm testing. We also include a 15-minute training consultation with a certified behaviorist trainer and 30-day pet insurance.
6dogrees Rescue is a small passionate Seattle based 501c3 non-profit charitable organization that focuses on saving the lives of urgent dogs on their last hours at high kill shelters from the state of California where pet overpopulation is at epidemic levels and kill shelters are the norm. 100% of all fees collected are spent on the dogs, we “Save it forward”; so each time a dog is adopted we are allowed to save another. Adoption fees are non-negotiable and are in place to allow thorough care for the dogs. 6dogrees adoptions are limited to residents of Washington State

Why Adoption is a Great Option

"Darla", a Seattle American Staffordshire Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Seattle, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Seattle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Seattle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Seattle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Seattle paves the way for another one to be saved.
