Gator's Story...
Up for adoption: Gator.
He can be adopted in Texas.
Gator is an adorable little fella! He’s about 1-2 years old and about 40 lbs and adorable! He is loving, playful and so loyal to his foster mom, a true joy.
Gator can be scared of other dogs and would prefer taking it slow with other animals, but he is incredibly responsive and amazing with people. We aren’t sure what he’s mixed with, but he sure is cute! He's incredibly loving with people ! He's medium sized.
He is neutered, fully vaccinated, micro-chipped, house trained and crate trained.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gator, a Austin Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Austin, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
