Apple's Info...

I am already spayed and up to date with shots.

Apple's Story...
Apple was an owner surrender by no fault of her own. By the gray fur around her neck and chest, it is obvious she was kept on a chain possibly all of her life. The owner said had too many dogs.

Apple is a beauty of an uncertain breed. She is very friendly towards people, and was very good at sitting pretty for her pictures.

Apple is dog selective and, like all of our dogs, requires a supervised meet and greet before bringing her home. She is 1 year old. Apple tested negative for heartworms, is spayed and up to date on her vaccines.

Perhaps you can be the superhero this girl deserves. Let her into your life and your home as she has never felt love and comfort as a family pet. If you are interested in adopting, please call us at 365-6318 or email us at animalservices@isleofwightus.net.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Apple, a Windsor American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Windsor, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Windsor.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Windsor already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Windsor breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Windsor paves the way for another one to be saved.
