Super sweet Sheba is a lab mix, approximately 8 years old, who was saved from her life as a backyard breeding dog. Her owner agreed to surrender her to rescue, and she began her new life in foster care being spoiled. She loves to play, and will stay by your side. She wants kisses and love, and sometimes is very overzealous about it! She's crate-trained and it's her preferred spot for naps. Completely house trained. She will push other dogs out of the way to get to their food, so she needs a separate feeding area. When Sheba came into rescue, she was heartworm positive. She has been through treatment, and is doing great. She is looking for a family that will help her trim down with lots of walks, playtime, and attention. She is great with other dogs and cats, and simply wants to enjoy life! She would prefer a fenced in back yard so she can safely enjoy the outdoors.
Sheba up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped, up-to-date on monthly preventatives, and spayed. She weighs approximately 75 lbs. We estimate her DOB to be around 04/01/2008. She is in foster care in East Tennessee. Her adoption fee is only $175, which includes all vetting and transport. Vet references, personal references, and home visits may be required prior to adoption.
