My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Good listener eager to hear the sound of your voice

Gromit is a slightly more serious cat with soulful eyes that implore you to love and pet him. He may not be the first cat to greet you, but he is very sincere when you go over to say hello to him. One touch sets his purr motor running and you will quickly understand that he loves being with people.

He is a quiet boy who recognizes kindness and TLC and comes down from his cat tree to interact with you once he sees you are a friend. He loves it when you lean down close and whisper in his ear as you pet his worries away.

Gromit and Wallace were brought to the Coronado Animal Care Facility together and have obviously spent their lives together. It would be ideal if they were adopted together, but we will consider adopting Gromit without Wallace. Gromit does take comfort from being close to another cat, so he would prefer to live in a home with a feline companion.

Are you looking for a feline companion to share your thoughts and dreams with? If you are, Gromit is ready to be a good listener!

You can meet Gromit at the Coronado Animal Care Facility. The facility is open daily between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm (except major holidays) and is located at 1395 First Street at the south end of the Ferry Landing complex.

If you are interested in adopting Gromit, you must first complete a Cat Adoption Application and meet with a PAWS of Coronado Cat Adoption Counselor. Cat adoption applications are available at the facility or Cat Adoption Applications may be completed online.

If you have any questions, please call Bob at 619-840-9727.
