Hello, my name is Nana and I could really use a new home to call my own!
This last year has been a very rough one for me. I was in a family that I knew my whole life, but then I had to go because they had a baby and I am kinda snappy when people get around my food. They sent me to OBHR.
I moved into a nice foster home but she had lots of other dogs, big dogs, and I wasn't too happy there. I warmed up to them, but it took me awhile. I was happier around her smaller dogs and her piggy. Yes she had a piggy! Then I got 'dopted! Yah!
Then I came back. I have something they call "bassitude" or basset attitude. I didn't like being told to get off the couch. I wasn't very happy around their kids. But people don't realize I have been through SOOO much change this past year and I just don't know how to handle it!
Thankfully another foster mommy in Geneva, OH has stepped up to give me another chance to be evaluated and hopefully adopted out to the right family!
So a bit more about me....I love car rides, napping outside when the weather is nice, being near my people, and going for walks! I'd like a low key home please with no really big bossy dogs or really small bossy humans. Oh by the way my original family told them I was born in Puerto Rico so I know some Spanish, but I'm not fluent! Oh and I am house broken!
Thank you for checking me out! Please consider a senior gal that needs love too!
All OBHR dogs are spayed/neutered, UTD on shots, checked for heart worm and on heart guard and flea preventative. If interested in one of our dogs please fill out an application at www.ohiobassetrescue.org today.
