My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

IDGSR welcomes Ranger into the safety of the rescue!!!

Ranger is a male German Shepherd who is about 1 yr. old and has a beautiful white coat. He was taken from his owner as a neglect/cruelty case and brought to the shelter. When he first came to the rescue, he was skinny and not too sure about anything but he has come a long way since then. He is in a foster home now and his foster mom says Ranger has gained weight and is comfortable around kids and adults. Very dog friendly, not cat tested yet. He is crate trained and doing well with housebreaking. Ranger does need to be taught basic obedience and manners and will benefit from obedience training. He's already started training with his foster mom and in his first class the trainer picked him to demonstrate the sit command. Ranger is very smart and learns quickly and will probably be at the top of his training class. Ranger is a very good dog with a nice temperament and would love to have a family of his own.

If you would like to make Ranger part of your family, please copy the link below and apply.
