Mayzee's Story...
Mayzee is a young hound who is looking for her furever family. She loves to cuddle and give kisses. She is house broken with a doggie door. She is full grown at 45 lbs. She is wonderful with other dogs, but tends to be a bit dominant when she is meeting new dogs. That passes quickly and she then does just fine with other dogs. She does not seem to like small dogs, however. She is also good with chickens. She knows "no" and sit and off. She has no problem sharing treats, food and water. Her adoption fee is $200 and includes her spay, vaccines, heart worm test, and microchip.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mayzee, a La Crosse Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in La Crosse, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in La Crosse.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in La Crosse already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a La Crosse breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in La Crosse paves the way for another one to be saved.
