My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jack aka Julian is an 10-month-old (DOB 10/24/15) male Toy Poodle/Brussels Griffon mix. He weighed 7.5 pounds on 08/09/16 and his adult weight should not exceed 8 pounds. Jack was surrendered to rescue by a backyard breeder who was “experimenting” with different breeds. We believe that he has a Brussels Griffon dad and a Toy Poodle mom. He has a light black coat of soft, loose curls with a smidgen of white on his throat and a gray muzzle. We also have available for adoption his half-brother, Little Boy aka Cyril, a Chihuahua/Brussels Griffon mix sired by the same dad but born to a different mother. We have not DNA-tested either dog. Like his brother, Jack is a great, happy little dog. He’s affectionate, personable, cuddly-snugly, playful, curious, and even-tempered. He can be shy on an initial meet & greet, but warms up quickly. He is a terrific passenger and loves to go bye-bye. He’s working on his house-training skills, but performs great when taken out often. Jack and Little Boy are BFF – best friends forever. They look nothing alike, but that doesn’t matter to them. They’ve grown up together, follow each other’s lead and play endlessly; that is, when they aren’t napping in a tight ball in a comfy pet bed. They would thrive in a home able to adopt them together as it would significantly ease their transition to and happiness in a new home. We understand that may not be possible. Jack aka Julian is neutered, up to date on all shots, on monthly heartworm/flea preventives, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $325 with all vet work done.
