Facts about Tucker

  • Sex: Male
  • ID#: APC-A-56
  • Hair: Unknown
As difficult as it is for us to believe, Tucker will soon celebrate his one year anniversary in foster. That's 365 days of hoping and wishing for a home and family of his very own. Tucker's been waiting long enough. Tucker is estimated to be between 7 and 8 years old. He's absolutely gorgeous, sporting thick and silky fur that begs to be brushed; brushing is an indulgence that Tucker thoroughly enjoys! He's got very expressive greenish gold eyes that are clear and shiny; he may not be able to speak verbally, but he tells you all you need to know with those beautiful eyes. Tucker is mellow and laid-back most of the time, happily spending lots of time looking out the window and snoozing. But our guy can also be playful and entertaining when the mood strikes him, so we suggest keeping a laser pointer handy for some fun spur-of-the-moment exercise! Although he's not a lap cat, Tucker grants his favorite people permission to pick him up and snuggle him. But a guy as majestic as Tucker has to have his pride too, so not too much silliness for too long before he's ready to be on his way. One of his most endearing traits is his meek little meow; it literally comes out more like a squeak with a question mark at the end. Tucker is a big, muscular boy, perfect for fans of large furry felines. He's neutered, microchipped, tested negative for FeLV and FIV, fully vaccinated (including rabies vaccine), consistently treated to prevent fleas, and litter box trained. He's fine with other cats, and shares his foster home with a mellow large dog. We think that Tucker would be happiest in an adult home that's more on the quiet side so he can continue to indulge his fondness for afternoon naps. About Allie's Pals Cat Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Allie’s Pals Cat Rescue is a non-profit organization devoted to the well-being and rescuing of cats and kittens throughout the TriValley. We are dedicated individuals who find joy in creating healthy environments and, ultimately, forever homes for cats and kittens that otherwise may not have the opportunity to enhance the lives of people. We encourage the positive collaboration of area feline rescues in order to maximize efforts for all who share in the goal of treating, rehabilitating, and rescuing cats and kittens from public shelters. Our combined years of experience are proof of our commitment to nurturing furry felines and offering temporary foster homes while screening potential adoptive families.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Many of our adult cats are shown at the Dublin Petsmart, located at 6960 Amador Plaza Road, Dublin (Alameda County), CA, and may be viewed during the store's normal business hours.

Adoptions interviews are by appointment; potential adopters may contact the person listed on either listings or at the Dublin Petsmart.

Kittens, when available for adoption, are shown at the Dublin Petsmart on Saturdays (11:30 am - 3:00 pm), and Sundays (noon - 3:00 pm).

Our Adoption Process...

Before the posting of our cats or kittens for adoption, they have been spayed or neutered, tested for FeLV and FIV, microchipped for identification (Allie's Pals Cat Rescue takes responsibility for registering your new pet's microchip for you!), and are current on their age-appropriate vaccinations, wormings, and flea prevention treatments.

All potential adopters are subject to the approval of an Adoption Counselor with Allie's Pals; our sole goal is to help make sure our cats and kittens are placed in PERMANENT, safe, compatible and loving homes.

All adopters will be required to sign an Adoption Contract, and will be provided with complete health and behavioral information about their new pet. Adoption fees apply: Cats over the age of six months ($50.00), single kittens up to the age of six months ($75.00), two kittens up to the age of six months and adopted at the same time ($125.00).
