This handsome boy was found by the nicest man on June 21st at Hwy 99 and Hwy 565, Baytown, TX. This ~3-yr-old, Red Heeler mix has since been named HAPPY! And you can see there IS a smile on his face in every picture - even wearing that e-collar! Jeff (the rescuer) took Happy to the vet and had him examined and vaccinated. Happy tested Positive for heartworms, but he has been on the Doxy regimen and receiving other treatment steps to take care of that. Jeff then took Happy to SNAP to be neutered! Happy is a friendly boy who gets along with everyone. He walks well on leash, and Jeff said he's an all around great dog....just more than his family wants to take on long-term. Happy is having to be in an outdoor kennel right now, but he would LOVE to be adopted by someone who will let him live indoors, and spend quality time with him playing and showing him lots of love. If you are interested in this handsome, intelligent dog becoming a member of your family, Please respond to Jeff at: 832-549-0125.
