Meet our one of kind Riley. Riley is an 11 year old Cocker Spaniel that lost her eyes due to being hit by a car when she was 6 years old. She was surrendered by her precious owner by not fault of her own. Although Riley is completely blind it doesn't hinder her in any way. She is a very lovable dog that loves treats and to give kisses. Riley is currently in a foster home and she is crate and potty trained. In her foster home they have a bell on the door so she knows where to ask to go outside. Riley knows sit and lay down and does well with car rides. Due to Riley being blind she relies on verbal commands and the sense of smell. Riley is always exploring her surroundings and adapts quickly so she can maneuver with ease. She requires a home with a fenced in yard for her safety. Riley does well with other dogs but cats seem to make her nervous. Recently Riley received a Thundershit and a Halo from HCW donations. This has been a big help for Riley and she has become more secure and independent. Riley's favorite thing is to go for walks on a leash. She is truly a sweetheart with a pure spirit and doesn't let her disability hold her back from having a grand life.
