Carmella's Story...
Meet Carmella, a beautiful 2 year old Yellow Lab who is as sweet as she is pretty! At about 75 pounds, she is one big mush who loves long walks, snuggling on the couch with her humans, and just hanging out in her kitty pool. Carmella is young and energetic, and her family just wasn’t able to give her the attention and exercise she deserves. She’s great with children, has lived with other dogs, and passed her initial cat test. She’s spayed, current on vaccines, and heartworm and Lyme negative. If you’d like daily cuddles and kisses from Carmella, please write pals@psknet.com for an application to adopt her.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Carmella, a Radford Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Radford, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Radford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Radford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Radford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Radford paves the way for another one to be saved.
