My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

IDGSR welcomes Venus into the safety of the rescue!!!

Venus is a beautiful German Shepherd mix who is between 1 and 1/2 - 2 yrs. old. She was underweight when she came to the rescue but she is eating nutritious food and gaining weight in her foster home. We are not sure what mix she is - could be either Carolina/Husky/Golden Retriever. Her coat is very, very soft, and really pretty and she is a shedder like a Shepherd or Golden. She is very playful and will play with the ball by herself, bouncing it up and down. Her foster mom says that Venus is the most lovable dog she has ever known and loves to give hugs and kisses. She bonds quickly with her human. She is intelligent, learns quickly, and would be a great Service Dog for someone with PTSD or anxiety. Venus is a smart affectionate girl who would love to have a home of her own.

If you would like to make Venus part of your family, please copy the link below and apply.
