Jamilynn Roscoe's Story...
Amy Lynn's Animal Care Saved Me!
Thanks to Amy Lynn Alexander, owner of Amy Lynn's Animal Care, LLC, in Erie County, for sponsoring the ROSCOE transport and saving 29 previous lives. Amy tell us, 'The Roscoe Transport is named for my dog Roscoe, a Joyful Rescues dog and total love bug! As part of Professional Pet Sitters Week in March of this year it was my goal to donate 10% of my business profits, Amy Lynn’s Animal Care, LLC to Joyful Rescues. It was a quiet week and instead the decision was made to sponsor a transport and save more dogs like Roscoe!' Thank you, Amy Lynn!
Jamilynn was born about March 21, 2016 and will probably weigh in the 40 lb. range when full grown. She is a happy, social, puppy that has been wonderful with all of us and the other dogs. She's the type of girl that should fit in about any home. The vet felt they were Border Collie mixes, we feel there is some Spaniel type features about them, but we are sincerely just guessing at breed. There is nothing known about the parentage. Please understand that we have no prior knowledge of this dog and we will be learning as we go and so will you. Update from Foster Mom: Jamilynn has adjusted very well in her foster home. She is very sweet with our kids (ages 5 & 8) our cat and plays very well with our dog. She is a very active pup but also knows when to chill out. Jamilynn has learned to wait at the door to go out to potty. Yay for Jamie!! We are working on her manners like staying down when she greets a guest at the door- she is still learning and is close to getting it. She is just so happy to have visitors. Jamilynn does great with being crated during the day for a few hours at a time and at night. She is very loving and gentle and will make her forever family very happy. She is such a sweetie!
The Adoption Fee for this dog is $350.00.
Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, worming & flea control - a 'complete' pet. We accept CASH or Visa/Mastercard ONLY.
Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility.
YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OF AGE TO ADOPT A DOG FROM JOYFUL RESCUES
We keep our pet list as up-to-date as possible. As soon as a pet is adopted, it is removed from the list. If a pet is still showing, it is still available for adoption.
Our primary goals here at Joyful Rescues are to re-home pets and save them from becoming homeless in the future, educate the public on pet care and spaying/neutering to control the pet overpopulation, to spay/neuter every pet before they leave us and spay/neuter as many pets, belonging to the public, as possible within our means.
