DOB: July 2011 || BREED/COLORING: Akita/Husky Mix; blue merle with white. || SIZE: Azulia is about 70lbs and is full grown. || HISTORY: Azulia was rescued of the streets in Tijuana by an independent rescuer who had seen her fending for herself. Polysfund.org stepped in and offered medical and transport to get her to safety. || PERSONALITY: Azulia is an absolute sweetheart. She loves having people around her but can be a bit weary of men (she may have been abused in Mexico). She's a character and a talker :) || TRAINING: Azulia has no training and could use some basic obedience training as she is still young and tends to jump on people. She is actually fairly good on leash (other than the jumping)... and she may need work on housebreaking as well. || WOULD DO BEST: Azulia would do well in a home with someone who is familiar with her breed mix. She absolutely requires a yard. || CATS/DOGS/KIDS: Azulia does great with dogs with a proper introduction but is definitely not recommended for homes with cats or tiny dogs. She was with children as young as 5 in her foster home in Mexico and did great with them. || VET RECORD: All of our dogs are currently vaccinated, spayed/neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. || AVAILABILITY: This dog is available for adoption now and is being fostered or kenneled in the San Fernando Valley area. Please email us and we will send you an adoption application. Local adoptions only. || Visit our website: http://www.foreverhomepetrescue.org/ || Visit us on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/foreverhome || Make a donation to help us continue to save lives: http://www.foreverhomepetrescue.org/donate.html
