Important Note

Trudy is best friends with Gallagher. Please adopt both of them so they can stay together!
Trudy and her brother Gallagher were rescued by a Pawprints volunteer after getting stuck in apartment wall (probably falling from the attic). Trudy is not as outgoing as Gallagher but just as playful. She loves to give massages - check out their Youtube video! She is in a second video - if you click on Gallagher's link, you'll see her taking care of her brother.

We are offering them as a pair for a reduced adoption rate of $100. This includes her spay surgery and her brother's neutering. Call or text her foster mom at 214-356-9126 to meet her and her brother.

About Texas Pawprints Cat & Kitten Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Our group's founders came from other cat rescue groups as we wanted to accept the cats others would not accept; older animals, injured, FIV positive and black cats/kittens. We also assist with TNR and have several traps to loan. We are small and informal, and always welcome new volunteers in any capacity.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We hold adoption events every weekend at several Hollywood Feed locations, including their Preston/Royal, Uptown and Lakewood stores. Please check out our Facebook page or call/text 214-912-2573 to find out when our next adoption event will be held.

If you're not able to visit an adoption event, send us an email and we can arrange to meet you at a local business or your vet's office.

Email for weekend adoption event starting times.

Our Adoption Process...

We ask all potential adoptors to complete an application/contract. Next, we interview all potential adoptors. We ask about previous pets owned, if all family members want to adopt, and the conditions in which the animal will live.

Generally we will not finalize an adoption if the animal will be allowed outdoors unsupervised, or if all family members do not agree to the adoption. We also discourage declawing of cats.

Our adoption fee is $95 and covers a test for FIV and feline leukemia, at least one vaccination, and a spay or neuter surgery. All pets are wormed and vaccinated.
