I may look like I could be on the dog version of 'American Gladiators,' but I am really about as gentle and loving as they come. Hello, my name is Nigel. Want to hear some fun facts about me? Well, my foster parents say I am the most photogenic dog to ever live and that it is impossible to take a bad picture of me. People tell me I have one of the biggest smiles they've ever seen with the cutest dimples. My foster parents say it is contagious and you can't help but feel happy too when I grin at you. My smile is so big that when I run my chops flap back in the wind and you can see all my teeth. It always makes people laugh. Don't be fooled by my weight. I am still pocket sized in height- I'm just a little stocky. You should know I also love the water! But...I'm not the best swimmer. I tend to sink- someone should probably get me a life vest. Until then I am happy to wade and splash around. I love going out on the town. I am a perfect gentleman when I get to go out to restaurants or bars. I usually sit politely by my foster parents and wait for everyone else in the place to inevitably ohhh and aww over me and come give me attention. I love getting affection from people and could happily lay on your feet all day long. I have a TON of extra skin under my chin and I enjoy a nice scratch in all those folds. To be honest, my last owner never gave me heartworm preventatives, so I am heartworm positive. Don't worry though, it's very treatable! Just ask my foster parents how! Along with being house-trained, crate-trained, walking well on a leash, and riding well in the car, I also get get along great with both male and female dogs (proper introductions are always important for any new dogs meeting though). I adapt well to the personality of whatever dog I am with. If I'm with an older dogs who just wants to chill, I'm ready to binge watch Netflix on the couch. If I'm with a younger dog who wants to wrestle, I'm ready to play. I have SO MUCH LOVE to give- I just need to find the right people who will love me back. So if you are looking for the coolest, sweetest, most wonderful dog in the world...look no further. Maybe you could be my forever family??
