Boo's Story...
Available for Adoption!

This handsome boy is back at our shelter through no fault of his own and looking for a forever home. Boo is deaf and needs someone with experience or willing to learn how to train and handle a deaf dog. He is friendly with dogs and children although toddlers are not recommended because of his inability to hear. Boo doesn't let his lack of hearing deter him from having fun and being an active and happy boy. If you want to be the family he needs please come by and meet him! <3

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Boo, a Lexington American Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bulldog for sale in Lexington, or seeking a American Bulldog dog from a breeder in Lexington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lexington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lexington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bulldog breeders who help with American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lexington paves the way for another one to be saved.
